The Charger starts with the SXT and GT, which comes standard with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that delivers 292 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, which you can up to 300 horsepower and 264 lb-ft of torque if you get a rear-wheel-drive GT or all-wheel-drive SXT. Once you come up on the R/T trim, you will get the first of the V8 engine options, with this one being a 5.7-liter V8 that pumps out 370 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque. Next, the Scat Pack ups the ante with a 6.4-liter V8 getting you 485 horses and 475 lb-ft of torque. The highest and most powerful of all the engines is the one for the SRT Hellcat, as it gets a supercharged version of the 6.2-liter V8, which pumps out 717 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. This can go even further with the Hellcat Redeye, which has a whopping 807 horsepower with the Jailbreak package. All engines connect to an eight-speed automatic transmission which is smooth as silk.
